We cut this midi dress from a dense knit with five percent spandex for a close fit along the torso. An elasticated neckline supports the off the shoulder ruffle, while side gathers release into a flared hem. It closes with a long back zipper.

• Neckline and shoulder ruffle. An elastic channel anchors the wide ruffle across the shoulders. You can wear it straight across both arms or pulled down on one side as an asymmetrical neck.
• Midi hem with flare. The body hugs down to the lower leg before widening into bottom ruffles. That slight flare adds room around the shins so you can walk without the fabric pulling tight.
• Stretch polyester knit. We use a ninety-five percent polyester and five percent spandex blend. The fabric has substantial weight and crosswise stretch, holding its royal blue tone through wash cycles.
• Back zipper and care. A concealed back zipper runs down the spine for stepping in and out. Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water, then lay flat or hang to dry to protect the elastane.
