We cut this midi dress with an asymmetrical neckline that balances an open shoulder against a loose cape sleeve. The body stays fitted from the bust down through the hemline. It is a solid royal blue knit with plenty of stretch for movement during dinners and cocktail parties.

• Asymmetrical cape sleeve. One side stays bare while the other extends into a draped cape sleeve. The ruffle cut falls loosely over the arm, contrasting with the tight fit across the torso.
• Bodycon midi length. The skirt follows the hips and finishes past the knee. We kept the profile narrow so the lower half stays grounded beneath the draped shoulder volume.
• Stretch knit fabric. We used a smooth knit blend that breathes well and recovers its shape after stretching. It hugs close along the waist without needing rigid inner boning.
• Care and maintenance. Turn the dress inside out and wash on a cold, gentle cycle. Hang it to dry or lay it flat so the heavy cape sleeve keeps its shape.
