Who carries the box

A dress leaves this catalogue the moment you press its price. The listing opens at the shop that stocks us, and the whole journey after that is run by them: their people fold the piece into a box, their carrier drives it, and the date shown at their till is the only date that means anything. What the road costs and how quickly it passes depends on the address and on the service chosen there, so no windows are quoted on this side.

Following the box

The number that follows a parcel sits in the order page of the account that paid, right under the receipt. When a box goes quiet for a few days or turns up with a crease down the skirt, that page is the shortest route to somebody who can act on it.

What our door never sees

Nothing bought from this rack passes through 515 North State Street, Suite 900, Chicago, IL 60654. Nine floors up there is a desk, a rail of patterns and no loading bay at all. A dress sent to that number would wait in a hallway while its clock ran down. Questions about the cloth are a different matter, and those the footer address takes gladly.
