We cut this party dress in red stretch fabric with full double lining so the material stays opaque. The halter ties behind the neck above an open back, while ruching gathers along the high waist and hips down through the midi hem.

• Halter neck and back. The front plunges into a V-neckline that secures with self-fabric ties at the nape. The back remains open down to the ruched waist seam.
• Double-lined stretch fabric. We use a soft stretch blend with two full layers of cloth. The inner layer prevents show-through while keeping the close-fitting profile smooth against the skin.
• Ruched midi skirt. Gathers along the waist and side seams give the skirt give through the hips. The hem falls below the knee in a straight midi line.
• Care and maintenance. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle to protect the elasticity and halter ties. Lay the dress flat to dry rather than using heat.
