We cut this midi with a deep V neckline and an open back that ties behind the neck. The bodycon skirt runs below the knee with ruching gathered along the waist seam. Soft stretch jersey gives the dress its shape without pulling thin across the hips.

• Adjustable halter tie. The neck strap knots at the back of the neck so you set how high the front V sits. It leaves the upper back open down to the waistline.
• Double lined jersey. We use two layers of stretch jersey throughout the body. The double cloth gives the black fabric opacity and a clean finish without added bulk.
• High waist ruching. Horizontal gathers sit across the high waistline and follow the curve of the lower back seam. The ruching adds give through the midsection.
• Wash and care. Hand wash in cold water or run on a gentle cycle in a mesh bag. Hang the dress to dry so the elastane in the jersey keeps its stretch.
