We shaped this evening midi with a high halter neckline and cutaway shoulders. The stretch knit gathers across the bust and through the waist before falling into an asymmetric hem. It pulls on directly over the head without zippers.

• Halter neckline. The high halter band fastens at the back of the neck, leaving the shoulders bare. It anchors the dress so the front panels drape evenly across the chest.
• Gathered torso. Side ruching draws the fabric horizontally over the waist and hips. These small pleats give the lightweight stretch knit enough slack to adjust as you move.
• Asymmetrical midi hem. We cut the skirt below the knee with a diagonal lower edge. One side falls longer than the other, which opens up the step while maintaining evening midi coverage.
• Stretch knit care. The breathable knit blend contains elastane for rebound. Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with like darks, then lay it flat to dry.
