We cut this midi dress in a stretch polyester blend with draped cape sleeves that fall along the arms. The round neckline keeps the front clean while a back zip lets you step into the close fit without pulling at the seams. The hem finishes below the knee for dinner parties and cocktail events.

• Cloaked sleeve cut. Split cape sleeves attach at the shoulder seams and drape open over the arms. They create movement while the body of the dress stays pinned close through the torso and hips.
• Stretch blend knit. The cloth is a 95 percent polyester and 5 percent spandex knit. It stretches across the body without turning sheer, holding a clean line from the round neck down through the skirt.
• Back zip closure. A long zipper runs down the center back seam. It opens deep enough to slip into the dress easily, keeping the round collar and shoulders crisp each time you put it on.
• Washing and care. Hand wash in water below forty degrees Celsius to protect the elastane fibers. Lay the dress flat to dry so the heavy cape sleeves do not stretch out the shoulder seams on a hanger.
