We built these tailored shorts with a high rise and subtle pleating through the front. The lightweight stretch fabric breathes easily in warm weather while holding its structured shape. A matching fabric belt ties at the waist to adjust the tension across the top.

• High waist cut. We cut the waist high to sit firmly above the hips. The waistband is finished cleanly to support the removable matching tie belt and hold the subtle front pleats in position.
• Fabric and stretch. The woven material is lightweight and breathable for summer wear. It incorporates a hint of stretch so the structured silhouette moves easily without pulling tight across the seat.
• Side pockets. Slanted pockets sit flat along the side seams. We shaped them to hold small items without disrupting the tailored line of the leg.
• Garment care. Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water with similar pink tones. Hang the shorts to dry to protect the weave and press with a warm iron to keep the front pleats sharp.
