We cut these high-waisted tailored shorts in a woven navy blend with subtle pleating through the front. The fabric balances structured polyester with breathable cotton, leaving just enough give for ease of movement. A matching self-fabric sash knots at the waist to adjust the fit. Functional slash pockets sit flat along the hip seams.

• High waist cut. We sit the waistband high on the torso and shape the front with small pleats. The matching tie belt lets you knot the waist tightly or leave it loose over a tucked top.
• Polyester cotton blend. We mixed ninety percent polyester with ten percent cotton for a clean tailored finish that holds its press. The material breathes well during warm weather and has slight mechanical give across the seat.
• Side slash pockets. Two deep front pockets sit smoothly into the side seams. They stay flat against the hip when empty so the clean lines of the tailoring remain intact.
• Care and maintenance. Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle with similar dark colors. Hang the shorts to dry or tumble dry low, and use a cool iron if you need to reset the front pleats.
