We shaped this mini dress with a fitted torso and an open back, balanced by a wide boat neckline across the collarbone. The skirt releases at the natural waist into a clean A-line flare that clears the knee. It is sewn from lightweight stretch fabric in bright red.

• Boat neckline and open back. The front neckline cuts wide and straight across the collarbones, supported by sleeveless armholes. Turn around and the back dips low, leaving the upper and mid back bare while holding tension at the shoulders.
• Fit and flare cut. We cut the bodice close through the bust and ribs before releasing the skirt at the waist. The A-line lower half drapes loose around the hips, giving the short hem room to move when you walk.
• Lightweight stretch fabric. The smooth knit fabric has enough give to sit flat against the torso without pulling. It breathes well in warm air and packs small for summer trips or club nights.
• Wash and care. Hand wash cold or run on a gentle machine cycle with similar colors. Line dry away from direct heat to protect the stretch recovery in the red knit.
