We cut this piece with an asymmetrical one-shoulder neckline and a sheer mesh outer layer over a close-fitting base. Soft gathering through the body shapes the fit without feeling rigid. It works well for dinner reservations, parties, and evening plans.

• One-shoulder cut. An asymmetrical neckline leaves one arm bare and anchors the single strap securely across the opposite shoulder. It keeps the upper line clean.
• Mesh overlay and hem. We layered a stretch mesh shell over a solid slip lining. The mesh extends past the lining at the bottom, leaving a sheer band at the lower hem.
• Side ruching. Gentle horizontal gathers run through the side seams to give the mesh texture across the torso. The gathered fabric moves easily when you walk.
